To me Wellington boots fall in the same category as Uggs. I don’t think they are particularly pretty but they are so damn comfy.Wellies have been made popular by KateMoss when sporting her rock chick at muddy music concert look. Brides have also been wearing them as a fun winter wedding prop, and on days like today they are quite handy. So I must admit I got very excited when I saw the black Wellies with pink polka dots at Pep Stores (yes I said Pep Stores) Best part they are very reasonably priced. As most PeP things are. Maybe it’s worth a look if you are in the market for a pair but not willing to pay a bundle.
Love wellies!! Wish I had the calves for them though... mine tend to get uncomfy after a while around the calf region *sigh*
ReplyDeleteYay for bargains! I agree, Wellington boots are fun but I'm not paying tons of money for a pair. I bought a cute floral patterned pink and blue pair at Pick 'n Pay last winter and this winter they are really coming in handy. Happy puddle jumping Liezel :)
ReplyDeleteThose boots are so fun! :)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I learned that I can not pull off a pair of Wellington boots. I tried on a pair of Hunter wellies a while back, and it looked absolutely ridiculous on me. Wet socks for me it is.
ReplyDeleteLove them! I live in mine.
ReplyDeleteI recently joked to IC that I would wear rubber boots on my wedding day (ok, not so much joked as told) (also we're not engaged, don't get excited). HE didn't seem as enthused with the idea. But I had no idea that this was becoming a thing!
ReplyDeleteI've seen those wellies at Pep and have been really considering buying them. If I go to some festival this year then I am definitely going to buy them!
