Dear GrandpaWhen grandma got sick we were all preparing for the worst. Her pain was so bad that we started praying the end would come sooner rather than later. But we thought we still had lots of time with you, thats why it was so hard on everyone when you left us just over a month after grandma. At first I thought your decision to just give up on life was selfish but now I understand that to you life without your best friend and the love of your life was far worse than having to say goodbye to your children and grandchildren. I hope you guys are safe together.
We still miss you every day.

ReplyDeleteSo sad. I am also going to have to say good bey to a loved pet soon. (Not close to a grandparent, but still so sad) Not ready yet. This made me feel better.
